SHINE custom-manufactures coaxial cable assemblies. We use automated tooling, employ a highly-trained workforce, and are committed to quality.
What is a Coaxial Cable Assembly?
A coaxial cable assembly organizes multiple coax cables into a single package that’s convenient to install and maintain. Each coax or coaxial cable has an inner conductor or center core that’s surrounded by a tubular insulating layer. In turn, this dielectric insulator is surrounded by a metallic shield. Often, PVC or Teflon is used.
Types of Coaxial Cable Assemblies
SHINE manufacturers these and other types of coaxial assemblies:
- Low PIM coaxial cable assemblies that minimize passive intermodulation (PIM), the unwanted signal or signals generated by the non-linear mixing of two or more frequencies.
- Plenum-rated, low PIM coaxial cable assemblies for in-building applications that require a plenum-rated product that meets building code requirements.
- High-performance, low loss coaxial cable assemblies made of flexible braided coax cables and supplied in various diameters.
